Who will paint my wall?

At South Florida Mural Painters, we work with a network of (mostly) local artists. Some of them are featured on our Artist page. When you reach out to us, we will provide portfolios of all our available artists, and we can work together to match you with someone who makes the most sense for your project.

How much does a mural cost?

Pricing depends on square footage, design, the wall’s surface, accessibility, location and start date. Typically, the larger the wall and the more complicated the design, the more expensive it will be. Also, if the wall is in a hard-to-reach area or if it has a really hard-to-work-with texture, the mural’s price will increase.

If you reach out, we will ask you those questions and for pictures of the wall, and then we can give you a quote.

Is everything included in the price?

Yes, we will provide you with an all-inclusive quote, which includes all the supplies needed to finish the job.

What are the payment terms?

We require a 10%, non-refundable design fee, which will be applied to the final balance. Once we receive this, the artist will begin working on the design and provide you with a short presentation.

We will then require 40% before we begin painting. This will allow time for purchasing supplies and renting equipment.

Once we’re all done, we will send an invoice for the final 50%.

What is the design process?

We will schedule a call with you to discuss the design. On the call, we’ll talk about location, subject matter, color palette, and we’ll go over any ideas you have. We can also do a site visit, if it makes sense.

With that information, the artist will create a design and share with you. If there’s any revisions, we can make those. Then we’ll set a start date and get ready to paint!

Do you prep the wall and area? What about clean up?

Yes, we will prep the wall, but please be aware we do not fix cracks or peeling paint. We will protect the surrounding area with tape and drop cloths and be sure to keep our area tidy.

We will clean up when we leave and leave nothing but the art!
